ALTAR, FLOWER HOLDER

The ALTAR vase draws inspiration from Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It consists of a shallow blue tray and two colour-contrasting mobile elements that can be placed as desired. Marrying the aesthetics of hard-edged painting with Japanese minimalism, this hand-crafted ceramic vase puts emphasis on shape, line and form in a search for balance between opposites.
